The Woodford Club Foundation
The Woodford Club Foundation was established in 2023 for the purpose of organizing golf-related events to raise vital funds for charitable causes that enrich the lives of individuals and communities.
One of its major events is sponsoring the Legends of the LPGA Woodford Club Invitational. This two day competition on June 7-8, 2024 will feature 28 LPGA senior members. This two-person team event will compete for a prize purse of $400,000. Additionally, 12 women amateurs will be in the field vying to secure the first place amateur trophy. This event aims to raise over $500,000 for its featured charities of KVC of Kentucky and United Way. Rounding out the activities for the week will be a concert on Tuesday night, practice rounds and a clinic on Wednesday and a special Legends fest evening on Wednesday night.
The Invitational mission is “Empowering and strengthening the lives of women and their families through the game of golf.”

Will there be food & drinks available on tournament days?
Yes! There will be concessions on the course and a tent on the back nine with food, drinks, tables and chairs which will allow you to view several holes.
Can I bring my own seating?
You are welcome to bring seats, but we will also provide seats in some viewing areas.
If we are unable to walk, how can we get to different areas on the course?
Throughout the tournament, there will be “mover carts” that can take spectators to different parts of the course.
